YES, you can definitely get the IT branch in further rounds.
I can provide you the Round 2 cutoffs of 2016, 2017 and 2018 for the General category.
In 2016, after Round 2-
Opening Rank- 134 and Closing Rank- 507 (IT)
In 2017, after Round 2-
Opening Rank- 140 and Closing Rank- 467 (IT)
In 2018, after Round 2-
Opening Rank- 151 and Closing Rank- 406 (IT)

Now, that is not in anybody's control.But, your rank is good enough to get IT at least after Round 4.All you can do is hope.Otherwise, Mechanical is also not a bad branch.
