Hello Raj,
Well to get a seat in NIT, you must first qualify JEE Mains 2019 cutoff according to your category. The cutoff for OBC-NCl in 2019 JEE Mains is 74.31 percentile. If you have qualified the given cutoff then you are eligible to get a seat in NIT through JoSAA counselling. Now with your rank of 27442 in JEE Mains, it will be hard to get a good NIT. Better you should attend the JoSAA counselling and see which NITs are you getting. Below I have listed some of the NITs where you might be able to take a seat -
- NIT Srinagar
- NIT Agartala
- NIT Manipur
- NIT Sikkim
- NIT Rourkella
So these are the NITs that you might be able to get.

If you are JEE Main qualified but didn't get a seat through JoSAA , then you could apply for CSAB counselling which will start after the end of JoSAA. Through CSAB , JEE Main qualified candidates can get seats in NITs,IIITs and GFTIs. You can visit this link and check the details regarding CSAB counselling : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/csab
Hope that you get your choice of college and branch. All the best !!!
