i had 1 backlog in 1st sem . i can apply for gre exam?
Hello Aspirant,
GRE or GMAT is not concerned about your Grades or is even remotely concerned of how well or poorly you are doing at your current institution. It is just like any other competitive examination where you clear the age criteria, pay the money and go and give your best exam on the day.
But, if you do have backlogs, then those will cause you some problems during your admission to the institute you are trying to apply via GRE. So no GRE does not care about your backlogs, but your application to the institutions will for sure.
I hope this helps.
All the best!
Hi Pranav,
The Graduate Record Examination(GRE) is a standardized test and do not have any specific eligibility criteria. Anyone can register for this exam, irrespective of age or qualifications. The only important thing that needs to be taken care is your original passport. You need to produce your original passport as proof of identity at the exam centre on the GRE test day. Ensure that you have a valid passport with you.
You have two kinds of GRE examinations-
1> GRE General which includes Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Writing and Quantitative Reasoning
2> Subject GRE- subject specific.
