I had a rural quota also So I
Hello Harshitha,
Even though you have the rural quota reservation it would now help much if you don't have a good marks because the reservation given to it is less.
After announcing five per cent reservation for state civil services aspirants who have studied in Kannada medium, the government is considering relaxing rules in
reservation for rural candidates
in
government jobs
.
At present,
Karnatakaprovides 10% horizontal reservation for candidates who have studied from classes 1 to 10 in a rural area in government jobs. Following a petition from rural students, who want the quota to be extended to those who have studied from classes 1 to 7, the government has asked the department of personnel and administrative reforms (DPAR) to examine the old rule and submit a report.Hope this answer helps.Thank You.
