I had given improvement exam this year (2019) but in counseling for nit or iit ,which roll no. I will Enter old or new?

Hello Ashish,
So, you have given 2 exams in different years, means you have dropped. So according to the exam, the minimum rank you got by the two exams or by which you are getting admission in NIT or IIT, you should write that roll number on the counselling application form.

Hope you are doing well. You should enter your new Roll number as you have appeared for the exam the second time. And your previous Roll number will be considered as invalid. You can clearly see a difference in starting of your Roll number. Usually the change of year will be written. And the system will not be able to recognize your old Roll number.
