i had taken chemistry as a domain subject in CUET. and i got RT in chemistry in boards exam so when i fill the CSAS for councelling they ask me fill academic qualification so what should I do
Hello there,
If you have taken Chemistry as a domain subject in CUET but have an RT (Re-totaling) result pending for Chemistry in your board exam, here is what you should do when filling the CSAS for counseling:
-
Mention your latest available board result . If your final Chemistry marks are not yet declared, enter the marks you currently have.
-
In case the board allows, you can update your marks later once the re-totaling result is out.
-
Keep proof of your re-totaling application ready in case the counseling authority requests it.
-
If the portal does not allow you to proceed without marks, you may contact the counseling helpdesk for guidance on how to proceed.
Always provide honest and accurate information based on your current status. Updating your marks later, if allowed, is common in such cases.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
If you received "RT" (Repeat Theory) in Chemistry in your board exam but cleared other subjects, you'll need to pass your theory paper in Chemistry before you can be officially considered to have passed class 12. Once you clear the theory paper, you can then proceed with your admission and counseling processes, including filling out the CSAS form.
Here's what to do when filling out the CSAS form:
1. Wait to fill out the CSAS form:
Do not submit your CSAS form until you have cleared the RT in Chemistry and officially passed your class 12 board exam.
2. Clearly indicate your academic qualification:
Once you have passed class 12, make sure to accurately indicate your academic qualification in the CSAS form, including your final marks and the fact that you have passed all subjects, including Chemistry.
3. Provide necessary documents:
You may need to provide your board marksheet or other documents as proof of your qualification, so ensure you have those ready.
Important Note: "RT" in Chemistry means you need to repeat the theory paper. You will not be considered to have passed class 12 until you clear that theory paper.
