5.2 eyesight shall not be considered, a minimum of 40% visual impairment or complete blindness is mandatory to be classified under PWD Category.
There is special reservation for PWD candidate with 3%.
Hence, candidate with of below 100 from PWD status and candidate with marks above 250 from general category both have equal chances to get into IITs and NITs.
Hence, one can also receive scholarship and has higher probability of converting top notch Engineering institutions woth PWD category.
