I have -12D myopia and i don't have interest in coding and electronics So which core engineering field should i choose to get a job
Hello,
With -12D myopia , you can still pursue most engineering branches. The bigger factor should be your interest and skills , not just your eyesight.
Since you don't like coding or electronics , you can consider:
-
Mechanical Engineering – Good for manufacturing, design, automotive, and core industries.
-
Civil Engineering – Opportunities in construction, infrastructure, government jobs, and project management.
-
Chemical Engineering – Good scope in process industries, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
Industrial/Production Engineering – Mix of engineering and management, with decent placement opportunities.
If your main goal is getting a job after graduation , Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering are generally better choices than many other core branches, provided you build practical skills through internships and projects.
Choose a branch based on your interests, because you'll be studying and working in that field for years.
Hope it helps.
