I have 17593 gmr and 955 sc rank in wbjee 2019...can i get cse or it in ju?

Hi Swapnodeep,

It is not possible for you to get CSE or IT based on your GMR rank.

But, you can definitely get CSE or IT based on your SC rank i.e. 955.

Based on the last three-year cutoffs i.e. 2016, 2017 and 2018, you can certainly get CSE or IT in Jadavpur University after Round 1.

It is your choice which branch you want but you can get any of them based on your SC rank .

You can select your prefernces as you wish and check the list

Please visit this link and check for yourself ,make 2-3 selections among the list of colleges that appear.If you do not have a prefered branch then set the branch to "not sure"similarly for the college location and Use your general rank (not the category rank) to generate the colleges that might let you in.

You do have a chance in the JU but the CSE or IT streams have high demand and hence I think the possibility might be quite low for you to get into the college in that stream , but there are many other better streams for which you will have a very high chance .

If you are really passionate about the stream then it will be better to try another college which accepts lower cutoff marks.
