I have 6 years of education gap and my qualification is 12th standard, how can I apply for Australia? Any Suggestions!

Well first you need to see whether there is any age criteria in your choice of college. A lot of colleges ask students to be within a certain age range to go for undergraduate or graduate studies. Then you need to show a very strong reason for not continuing your studies after standard 12th and taking a long 6 year worth gap.

Thanks for your query. Honestly speaking, the gap is considerably a big one! Ideally, the Australian government accepts an education gap of 1 year after studies. However, it depends entirely on the university’s decision whether to admit someone to the course/programme. Several unavoidable situations where students take academic gaps, or start working and return for studies again, sickness, having children, raising kids etc are at times, accepted by institutes. Having said that, you need to provide credible information about what you have been doing all these 6 years. They would like to know what work/project or legal business were you engaged during the last 6 years. It would be great if you can produce relevant certification/diploma to avoid getting your chances of visa getting rejected.

I would suggest to visit the Australian Visa office and talk to them about your situation.
