According to all the information you have provided, it'd still be hard to say if you get into any NIT. However, you can hope for private colleges with a decent branch.
Also, you can use "college predictor" to get the best possibilities of getting a college.

Hello aspirant. 71 percentile is quite low score in JEE mains and you won't be able to get any government college on it's basis. You must rely on other entrance examinations like BITSAT, VITJEE or any other for better chances (if you have applied). If you haven't applied anywhere but only JEE mains then I am afraid you would end up being disappointed if you want to pursue engineering that bad.
