A counselling process is conducted by JoSAA . You have to register and select carefully according to your choice of colleges and courses from list of NITs. Therefore, after checking the mock allotment, you are advised to make required changes to help securing a seat you wish for.

Confirmation of Admission
Finally, if you are able to get allotted into the NIT, then you will have to confirm the seat by freezing it. You will have to pay for the seat acceptance fee. Finally, document verification will have to be done at the reporting centres for confirmation of your admission.
