I have a big confusion ! is BE or B tech same?
BE and BTech are both Undergraduate Engineering Degrees and are comparable with each other amd habe the same value and employer outlook.
BTech having more credits for Research, Labs, Project, Training and Tutorials being a Skill Oriented Courses, while BE being a Knowledge Oriented Course, mostly inclined towards theoretical Aspects of Engineering.
Other main difference between the two, is that, the Universities Offering BE offer other Commerce, Pharmacy, Arts and Other Programme Degrees besides Engineering, while the latter is offered by Universities mostly having Science and Engineering Courses.

Hey,
In India there are two types of University,
One that offers all courses and hence they call their engineering degree as Bachelor in Engineering (BE)
Other that offers only engineering course and call their degree as Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
The foundation along with the pattern and duration of both the courses are same.
The only difference is that BE is more research oriented whereas BTech is more skill oriented. BE students are focused more on theory and BTech students are focused more on practicals.
In short BE is a research oriented field whereas BTech is a industry oriented field.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hi Aspirant,
BE is Bachelor of Engineering and Btech is Bachelor of Technology. The main difference between them is that in terms of study.Bachelor of Engineering stresses much on theoritical knowledge and gives a less stress on practical knowledge. However Bachelor of Technology gives much importance to practical application and makes you industry ready.
Hope it helps!!
