I have a DCA certificate from Udemy is it enough for ibps clerk qualification or should I apply for other course?
Hello,
You don't need any certificate for the IBPS clerk because this job role doesn't require any certificate. This role doesn't state that you need any computer certificate; you just need a basic knowledge of computers. The participating bank may assess your computer literacy during the exam.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello Bhavya
A DCA certificate from Udemy is generally not enough for IBPS Clerk Qualification because IBPS requires you to have a certificate from a recognized government or university-affiliated institute. Udemy is not officially recognized by the Government of India or universities for this purpose.
Thank You!!!
For IBPS Clerk exam, you must have basic knowledge of computers. This can be shown in two ways:
you must have a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or computer language
or you must have studied computer or IT as a subject in school or college
You said you have a DCA (Diploma in Computer Applications) certificate from Udemy. But Udemy is a private online platform and not a government-recognised institute. So in most government exams like IBPS, certificates from Udemy are not usually accepted.
So, your DCA from Udemy is not enough for IBPS Clerk eligibility. It’s better to do a computer course from a government-approved institute like NIELIT (DOEACC), IGNOU, or a government polytechnic or college.
You can do a short course like CCC (Course on Computer Concepts), which is accepted for IBPS.
