NT stands for Nomadic Tribe, Abhijit. So, in Maharashtra Caste, there are three categories of nomadic tribes: NT1, NT2, and NT3. All India Counseling accounts for 15% of MBBS seats in Maharashtra, whereas State Counseling accounts for 85%. Seats in the State Quota are distributed as follows: 70% Regional Quota, 30% State Quota. Candidates from Vidarbha, Marathwada, and the rest of Maharashtra are eligible for 70% of the Regional Quota seats. Candidates from SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D, and OBC are eligible for the Maharashtra Constitutional Quota. The OBC Category includes NT-B. NT B is technically NT 2.
