Yes, you can write both JEE and TNEA exam for joining engineering.

For writing TNEA exam you should have passed in all the subjects and scored a minimum average of 50 percent in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.same for JEE also(ADVANCE).Both are useful.

If you did well in JEE mains examination,then there is no need to seat in TNEA entrance examination.With JEE score card you can fetch NITs or IIITs,JEE will provide you lot of Colleges.If your percentile score is more than 96 then there is no need to appear in TNEA.Otherwise you should seat in TNEA entrance.
