Dear Sanchita, if you are enquiring about AFMC, Pune, they have a 'Medical fitness' test. They check various paramenter as in you height to weight ratio, visual, locomotor, hesring abilities, etc. Female candidates should be 144cms and atleast 36 kilos in weight. Any candidate lesser than 39 kilps will be considered unfit. It doesn't call out candidates who are not proportiote in height and weight. Having said that if the Medica fitness test comes out as 'unfit', you can always contest the fitness test by paying a minimum amount. With the kind of physical activities that are involved in the daily life of a Medical student, you will be fit and proportionate in a short period of time.

Hey aspirant, There is medical check up done at AFMC and that too are really strict and there is nothing like if you are overweight you would get disqualified. There is a criteria that female candidates minimum height 144cms and weight 36kgs and in case of boys the height is 157.5cms and weight is 47kgs.
Hope this helps
