Yes u can write only one paper. But in which shift did you have your both papers?

Now as you have already applied for both papers,
It's better you give both of them.
You will also gain good experience and confidence after writing these National level exams.

Yes you can but paper 1 is more important than paper 2 so try your best to attend paper1 also....
