I have applied for jee main April before 2 days and had applied in January also but now the news is that there is no need to re-apply.

That may be the wrong news, because without registering the april exam how can one get an hall ticket and allotment of the centre right.
Not all who wrote exam in january will be writing in april, so that news is a rumour. Don't worry.
