I have applied for my EWS certificate in January 2020. what will be my financial year in the certificate...as it is provided in the govt memorandum that the financial year should be prior to the year of application. i am confused whether it should be 2018-19 or 2019-20...plz help

It will be 2018-19 because the certificate is being given on the virtue of your family income in the past year. And that can be evaluated for checking your eligibility for EWS reservation. Because it is not accurately possible to assess your future income, your past year's income is considered to consider your eligibility for EWS reservation. So please enter 2018-19 there in that column.

It wont be because the authorities do understand that this is a new reservation and they will give the certificate accordingly.

Mam i applied for ews certificate in march 2021....what should be financial year on it.... Bcz they write 2020-21 but i thik it should be 2019-20.
If I make EWS certificate in Jan 2022 it is clear that financial year will be 2021-22. I want to ask will the income of Jan and Feb 2022 will be counted or we can make EWS on the basis of salary Apr 2021 to Dec 2021?
