As you may know the questions for neet come from biology, physics and chemistry so it doesnt matter which subject you are choosing as an optional subject however most students prefer maths (as physics requires a lot of mathematics concepts specially during calculus). As far as IP is concerned
IP stands for information practices (Java, SQL, HTML, XML, networking, open source software and other basic computer concepts, hardware and software concepts etc) hence I dont think it will help you in preparing for neet , however it is a great subject if you have a good teacher (specially if you want to be an engineer ) but it wont help in neet preparation.
