Surely you are elligible to appear for JEE Advance the next year.
Participating in the Advance has no relation with prior appearence or taking part in the Counselling process of the previous year.
You can take the drop and prepare whole heartedly for the upcoming exam next year.
No need to worry about the elligibility based o this year.
