I have completed my 6 th semmester( btech). Still have 2 semmester left, am i eligible for gat-b and bet ??

The candidates who are have passed or appearing in the final year examination of Bachelors (B.E./ B.Tech.) and Masters (M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.VSc./Integrated M.Sc./ M.Tech.) in any discipline of Biotechnology, Life Sciences or any other allied areas of Biology are eligible to apply for GAT-B and BET Entrance Examination. Considering the eligibility criteria you are not eligible to appear for GAT-B 2021 and BET 2021, You are eligible to appear for GAT-B 2022 and BET 2022 as you will be appearing in final year(eighth semester) examination next year. You must also need to fulfill the institute specific eligibility criteria for getting admission in GAT-B participating institute.

Firstly you are eligible for any exam as a final year student one can apply even before starting of final year also .

The dbt biotechnology eligibility is 60% for general and based on bet they divided into 2 categories of merit list

Category 1 is for students will be able to fetch fellowship .

Category 2 they avail dbt sponsored project .

And note to you is the candidates appearing in the final year examination are also eligible to apply with 28 years of agelimit  .

As you have not yet completed mode of selection takes plenty of time it grabs upto 1-4 rounds for selecting and each round allows two months atleast .therefore you can complete before your interview.
