What I suggest to you is, you should mail to the authority reporting your issue.

Most of the Application process has a time period allotted for correction of the details, they open a correction window through which you can review your details and correct them if any error is there.

The official website of the related authority/institution has all the contact details through which you can get in touch with them and troubleshoot all the issues.
