Yes it is mandatory to do 1 year internship in India after passing your FMGE examination. You can apply in any medical college for the same after receiving your passing certificate. You may choose the subject to do internship in the specific duration.

Dear Harihar, as you have already completed your MBBS with 1 year internship in Philippines, you needn't repeat the internship in India. FMGE is for those canddidates who have studied Medicine abroad to practise in India. As you have cleared FMGE, you are eligible to practise right away. You will now receive a provisional or permanent registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India.
