I have EWS certificate issued by maharashtra state government with this certificate am I eligible under EWS category for IBPS specialist officer exam (also for other IBPS exams ) as EWS certificate format is different

Hi Candidate,
EWS Category refers to the Economically Weaker Sections of the society which comes under the General Category itself but have been provided special reservation criteria for about 10% of the seats in the government colleges.
You can definitely apply from the EWS Category itself for the IBPS examination, but you also have to make sure that the format of the certificate asked for submission is the same as the Certificate issued by the Maharashtra government
