Usually all the categories under EWS list of Central will be in state but all the categories under EWS Category of state won't be under Central list. You can go through the info regarding exam so that you'll know about the details of EWS certificate for respective exam.

If you even an EWS certificate whether issued by Central government or State government. However, if you have a central EWS certificate you may have the privilege to get 10 reservation in other states also. But if you have a state EWS certificate you won't be able to get the 10 percent reservation in other states.

Now, with an EWS certificate you can have the 10 percent reservation in central government jobs and Central government colleges or Institutions but you may not use your EWS certificate to avail 10 percent reservation in other states government jobs and state government colleges. Validity of EWS certificate facilities you to get reservation in all the central government organisations but you will be deprived of availing this reservation other than your home state.
