Dear Sir/Ma'm, you can definitely apply for JEE mains the next year but before that you need to pass in the subject you have failed especially if they are Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, since you need to have a minimum cut-off of marks in these 3 subjects, without which you won't be allowed to sit for JEE Mains.
