I have got 170 marks in neet is any college allort me
Hello Aspirant
A score of 170 comes under the category of a much below average score, you would face difficulty in getting any government college seat. Since you have not mentioned your category, I will assume you are a general candidate.
Based on the Cutoffs of the previous year, The NEET Score which is Required to get a Government Medical College for MBBS is at least 550 to 600+ in AIQ(All India Quota) and in all over India , it is 500 to 550+ in SQ(State Quota).
Your best option can be to apply for Private colleges if you can afford an fee of 15-20 LPA. If not, you can also try for BAMS, BDS, BHMS as well as BVSc. in Government medical colleges and other paramedical courses.
Hope this helps
Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.
So on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the medical colleges under state quota. But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-
Bharath Medical College, Chennai- 141 marks
Datta Meghe medical college, Nagpur- 166 marks
Sri Lakshmi Narayana Inst. of Med. Scien., Puducherry:- 152 marks
Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chenna:- 169 marks
