Going by the counselling status,there are 264 seats available at Vit vellore for the 5th category.So there is a slim chance of  you getting into this category.If not this there is a higher chance of getting into the 4th or 5th category at vit,chennai.

As for IT,there are 94 seats in the 4th category,you''ll either get into this or 5th category IT.

Either way you will surely get into cse or IT.Decision is yours to make now.:)

Also keep checking the counselling status that they mail you.
