Dear Candidate,
According 2018 and 2019 ECE closing rank for VIT Vellore campus is around 14k and you rank is but 40k. At 40k Rank almost all the seats in all core courses will get over. There is very less probability to Get ECE. there is change to get civil engineering branch.
