I have got 73% marks in 12th standard as per this year there is no need of 12 th marks i have choosen long term if they say you should have 75% marks them am i possible to write Jee Mains
For admission in NITs,GFTIs and IITs, one should have secured 75% marks in 12th board with PCM, however this criteria was scrapped for last year and this year due to effects of Covid-19. But this criteria will be applicable from next year. Now, you can appear in JEE mains regardless of your board percentage and will be able to secure admission in various other colleges except NITs but you cannot appear in JEE advance because you cannot get admission in IITs.
I hope this helps.
as they said 75% marks in 12th board is waived of for the acedemic year 2021-2022 right then it is applicable for 2020 right
Hello,
To appear for JEE Main you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. There is no minimum percentage requirement to appear for JEE Main but to get admission in to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs you need score minimum 75% aggregate marks if you belong to general category and 65% aggregate marks if you belong to SC/ST category. The minimum percentage requirement was relaxed last year and this year but if it is not applicable for next year then you may not be eligible to get admission in to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs but you can still apply for admission in any college accepting JEE Main score provided you must fulfill the eligibility requirements of the college in which you wish to get admission.
