Hello aspirant!
For admission into IIT and NIT, you must secure 75% in your class 12 boards. As you have got less than that, go for improvement. If you are confident enough that you can secure well enough in 2 or 3 subjects to raise your percent to 75, go for it. Else, it would be better to sit for improvement for all the papers!
