I have got a gate score of 810 (EC) will i be able to get admission into top iits in VLSI stream? And aslo would you recommend PSUs or IITs?

Congratulations for getting good score in gate. For 810 score in ECE paper you have fair chances of getting top IITs like kanpur, kharagpur, bombay, roorkee etc..

I would recommend you also to apply for PSUs since you have some chances of getting some of PSUs after further selection process.
