Dear Gaurav ,
Thank you for coming back with a further doubt and yes, I can clarify this too.
It’s good to know that you’re preparing for competitive examinations. But are you seriously interested in pursuing an LLB programme?
Because LLB studies need proper classes, mooting experiences, internships, etc. If LLB is a side-option, I am afraid that you won’t be able to give much time to this, which is indeed required.
Or, if I have presumed it wrong and you’re interested in pursuing the LLB programme, then you must know that 75 per cent attendance is a must in Delhi University. However, they may also consider it up to 70% under certain cases. But this is you, who’ll have to manage between DU LLB classes and competitive examination preparation.
You are a brave one who has taken up this decision to go with both. But consider it logically.
I am not saying that the competitive exam preparation along with DU LLB classes can’t be done. It can be provided you have a good time schedule, you follow it religiously and stick to that schedule.
Only brave men can pass the forest of thorns to sit on the king’s throne.
I hope this clarifies your doubts further. In case there is still something with which I can help, please ask again.
Keep asking questions, unless you get an answer. This is the best way to clear your doubts and gain knowledge.
All the best!
Thank you.
Dear Gaurav ,
I don’t know what makes you take the decision to cancel your LLB allotted seat in Delhi University, but think twice before taking up such decisions.
Let me provide you some facts, before I tell you the process to withdraw the submitted documents.
Of around 25,000 LLB aspirants who registered for DU LLB 2018 entrance exam, over 20,000 candidates had filled DU LLB 2018 applications, of which only 17,662 appeared for the DU LLB 2018 entrance exam. These 17,662 test takers including you were all vying up for the LLB degree from the most sought after University of Delhi.
You should be happy that you are one of those 3400 bright candidates who had cleared the DU LLB 2018 cutoff and allotted a seat to pursue the law programme.
Taking up an LLB course with a DU tag is worth.
However, if there are some definite logical reasons due to which you wish to cancel the allotted DU LLB seat, read the process below.
You have to cancel your allotted LLB seat by logging into your candidate account. Take a print out of the seat cancelled receipt and visit the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. You’ll also need to carry an application form requesting cancellation of your LLB seat and withdrawing of your academic documents.
As a process, the DU FoL will be returning your documents in next two working days.
I hope this brings clarity to your query. In case there is still something, with which I can help you out, feel free to counter-question me.
Till then, keep up the habit of questioning as it helps you in learning more and more.
All the best!
Thank you.
