i have interest in software.Should I take IT?

If you have interest in software, it would be good if you choose Computer Science rather than going for IT. You can embed applications in the web using general software basics also. IT is about information handling, processing, storage and retreival. There are many languages for developing softwares. You can learn two or many languages. If you have interest in software development, you may join B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Software development. This is course is provided in some colleges like SRM. You mau also do certification course but I think regular B.Tech is of better quality.
