I have just cleared 12 th and I am confused in selecting either merchant navy , petroleum engineering ( Later Mtech in renewable ) or CSE cybersecurity

Choosing between merchant navy , petroleum engineering and CSE Cybersecurity depend on your career goal because each of these fields has completely different lifestyles.

• If you want global travel then choose Merchant Navy . The starting salary can range somewhere between Rs 40,000 and Rs 80,000 per month.
• If you prioritise core industrial and energy projects then select Petroleum Engineering . The starting salary can be around Rs 6-8 lakhs p.a.
• If you prefer a corporate, technology-based desk role then choose cybersecurity . The starting salary as a fresher can range from Rs 5-8 lakhs per annum.
