I have just realised i have great interest in designing and i am doing non med right now....what should i do any branch in btech or to mba
Also, you will not be able to pursue MBA as you need a undergraduate degree to be eligible to sit for MBA entrances. Once you have completed your undergraduate/bachelor's, you can consider an MBA as per your interests. All the best!!
Hi Aditi!
Since you are pursuing non-medical stream right now, and you are probably in Class 12 (I assume), you have a lot of lucrative options to choose from. If you are very sure of your interest in engineering-related fields under B.Tech such as mechanical, electrical, chemical etc., you must go ahead with B.Tech.
However, considering that you have an interest in design, you may go for B.Des which is a four-year course. This course will require imagination and creativity as it will encompass history, concept and different areas covered in the field of design.
In case you want to enter a technical field which also has design aspects, I believe B.Arch or (bachelor of architecture) will be the best option for you. It is a five-year course which will cover designing, planning and construction techniques of different spaces. I suggest you to explore this option in depth as it will cover your interest of designing as well as utilise your background of non-med. In order to take admission in any reputed college which offers this degree, you will be required to sit for NATA or else AIEEE B.arch.
Goodluck! Please feel free to ask any more queries so we can guide you better.
