Hello Dear Student,

If you have lost your original TC:

1. Contact your Class 10 school and inform them that your TC has been lost.
2. Apply for a duplicate Transfer Certificate . Most schools have a procedure for issuing one.
3. You may be asked to submit:
   • A written application stating how the TC was lost.
   • A copy of your Class 10 marksheet or passing certificate.
   • Aadhaar or another ID proof.
   • Passport-size photographs (if required).
   • A nominal fee for issuing the duplicate TC.
4. Some schools may also ask for:
   • An FIR or a Lost Document Report from the local police station, or
   • A newspaper advertisement declaring the document lost (this depends on the school/education board).
