Yes of course you can. There is no problem if you have 1year gap after your 12th. You can go for online application for taking admission in engineering.

Hello aspirant,
There's nothing to worry about your year gap,I met people having two- three years gap.
Thus ,you can definitely apply for engineering in any of the colleges ,if you are seeking direct admission if not then you can give entrance exam for better selection through counselling.
