i have passed 12 in 2024-2025 i scored very low percentage so i didnt got the college i was aiming and now i am appearing for improvement in 2026 so while filling cuet registration form in qualification section what should i choose "passed" or "appearing" (if i choose passed i have to uploadold one)
Hello dear candidate,
As you have already passed the exam of 12th in 2024 you will need to add passed and upload your marksheet of your class 12th in the CUET form even if your appearing for improvement in 2026.
After your 2026 improvement, you can update your new marks during admission.
Thank you.
Hello, You should select "Appearing" for your 2026 CUET registration.
The reason is that your admission will be based on your new, improved 2026 improvement exam results, not your old 2025 marksheet. If you select "Passed," you will have to upload your old marksheet, which has the low percentage and might cause issues during counselling for eligibility.
By choosing "Appearing," you are correctly informing the system that you are sitting for the 2026 examinations. This allows you to register now and then submit your new, improved 2026 marksheet later, during the university admission and counselling phase.
I hope you found this information helpful. For any other study-related questions, please ask in the Careers360 app, Have a great day!
Hello,
Because you’ve already cleared Class 12 in the 2024–2025 session but plan to retake it for improvement in 2026, choose “Appearing” when you fill out the CUET registration form just as you’d tick the right box on a crisp printed sheet. This means you’re already boosting your grades, and before long, a fresh marksheet ink still drying will be ready for you. If you pick “Passed,” it locks in your old result one that won’t show the progress you’re about to make. Choosing “Appearing” makes sure your updated marks count during admission and keeps your paperwork smooth no messy red marks or missing pages later.
Thank you
Best regards
