I have qualified CSIR-JRF from the general category, but I filled EWS in the examination form. Now CSIR is not issuing my JRF certificate. They are asking me to submit an EWS certificate otherwise my candidature will be canceled. What can i do further in this?

Though you have cleared under " General " category, you need to submit EWS certificate. If you have filled application under EWS, then it is the candidates responsibility to produce the EWS certificate for verification. You may pls check the detailed notification and see if the UGC has mentioned anything particular regarding EWS category certificate. If not , I suggest you to file a RTI enquiring the same , request for couple of days time to produce the certificate infront of  panel, file a RTI to  UGC Help desk. You will definitely get a clarification for the same. Mean while do the arrangements for EWS certificate too. If any doubts, pls feel free to ask !
