I have qualified in gate 2019. I need to apply for Telangana state colleges.Is there any counselling will conducted for state colleges

Hello Aravind, if you want to apply in the state colleges of Telangana through your GATE score, then you must participate in TS PGECET Counselling 2019.

It will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
If you are applying through your GATE score, then you must register online and pay the Counseling fee ( ₹600 - General category, ₹300 - SC/ST category).

The counselling will start tentatively from the third week of June 2019.

Eligibility criteria
1. The candidate must have passed GATE in the year 2017, 2018 or 2019.
2. They must have secured 50% in the qualifying degree, and a 5% relaxation in this marks for the reserved category.
3. They must be from the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.

Counselling procedure
There will be a seperate counselling procedure for the candidates who participate on the basis of their GATE score.
1) Register yourself and pay the fees for the same.
2) Fill in the Application form
3) Verifying the documents
Some of the necessary documents to be verified are:
GATE Score card

Degree/Provisional certificate and Marksheets of qualifying examination

Marksheets and certificates of class 10 and 12

Category certificates from competent authority  (In case of student claiming reservation)

Residence certificates/Domicile certificate

Aadhaar Card

Income certificate issue after 01.01.2019

4) Choose a college
5) Results of the seat allotments.
