I have qualified the IB Security Assistant Tier 1 exam, and my Tier 2 exam is on February 22. I have qualified for Delhi SIB but do not have domicile of Delhi. However, all my proofs are from Delhi. Will I be rejected at the document verification stage?
Congratulations on qualifying Tier 1. For the IB Security Assistant/Executive examination selection for a particular Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB), such as Delhi SIB, generally does not require a separate domicile certificate like state government jobs. What matters more is whether you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification, including local language requirements (if applicable) and valid address proof. Since all your documents and proofs are from Delhi, you are unlikely to be rejected at the document verification stage solely for not having a formal Delhi domicile certificate, provided your application details match your documents and you meet all other eligibility conditions. It is still advisable to carefully review the official notification to ensure there is no specific domicile requirement mentioned.
