I have received Electrical branch in Thapar in 3rd Councelling on the basis of JEE. They are asking to deposit the fee. But I am not interested to take admission in this branch. & On 29th of Oct a Spot round also been conducted. Can I participate in that round without depositing the fee?

Spot round takes place after lastroundof the seat allotment process of seats left. All candidates eligible for centralcounselling, except those who have been admitted to an institute are eligible for registering inSpot Round. So, as you can see you will be eligible to participate in spot round if you skip admission in Thapar and that to is also risky because you might not get a better college in thapar in the spot round and yes they will ask for fees before spot round so you will have to decide what you have do.
