I have scored 40 %tile engg. in my 2nd attempt of mhtcet (which I know is not good at all) & from NT 3 category so please can you suggest me a good cllg in mumbai suburban/thane/pune or in such vicinity with any stream ( cllg>>stream)

First, don't panic about the 40 percentile. Since you're from the NT-3 (GNT3) category , you can get better options than an Open-category student with the same percentile, especially in lower-demand branches and during later CAP/Institute rounds.

Also, your priority "College > Branch" is actually sensible if you're not fixed on CSE.

Based on previous CAP trends and NT-category cutoffs, at around 40 percentile you should target colleges where admission chances are realistic rather than aiming for famous names.
