I have scored 72% in 12th boards but have rt in my additional subject. I'm aiming for Clat 2027. so is it necessary for me to give that exam or I can skip it?
Hi,
Yes, you should appear for the compartment/improvement exam in the subject where you got RT (Reappear in Theory).
Even though your 72% overall marks are enough for Common Law Admission Test 2027 eligibility, clearing the RT is still very important because your Class 12 marksheet should officially show “PASS.”
For CLAT eligibility:
-
General/OBC candidates need at least 45% marks
-
SC/ST candidates need at least 40% marks
So your percentage is already fine, but clearing the RT will help avoid any issues during admission or document verification later.
