i have scored 87 percentile in January main and i am from general category can i clear cut off?
hello aspirant...
as per the expected cut of the general category for this years jee mains examinattion, it comes about 89.75 where as your percentile is just below the expected cutoff, but as it is not the officially published cutoff by the nta you can expect some relaxation according to the cutoff criterias. hope you do better in the coming session of jee mains examination and get admission in best colleges of the country..
all the best
So rank formula is (100 - your percentile) * (869010 /100). If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your percentile score) * (1200000/100).
Its difficult to tell exact the qualifying marks for Jee Advanced eligibility but 85 percentile and above should be an ideal score. So if you are getting more than 85 percentile, you have decent chances to write Jee Advanced.
