i have scored88.86 percentile in open category can I get a seat in the nit , i belongs to obc category

It would be difficult to predict your exact admission possibilities or qualifying cutoff based on your percentile. As per the previous year data, The chances seems less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs however you can go for the state level counselling like Punjab, Haryana, MP Etc.

Yes, you have more chances to get a seat in IITs, NITs and CFTIs as a engineering student. Because cut off marks for OBC ncl category is nearly 74.
