To be very true 86k rank in the jee mains is not a very good rank for you to get a NIT.But as your home state is UTTRAKHAND,so as we know we have a NIT Uttarakhand present in which you can get certain low end streams like BIO-TECHNOLOGY etc,but that too there is no surity.
So, I would suggest you to try in the Government colleges in your state where you can easily get admission to with your rank.
